Who we are
Ocean Dragons – Northern Beaches Juniors Triathlon Club is first and only triathlon club in NSW focused on the development of the next generation of passionate triathletes.
Created by AusTriathlon-accredited coaches and parents of young triathletes, we’re a community that keeps sport fun, supportive and meaningful. We help kids build confidence, skills and healthy habits they’ll carry through life.

We’re dedicated to inspiring a long term love for triathlon in young athletes.
Our club provides a nurturing, energetic environment where kids learn to swim, ride, and run with confidence while building resilience, friendships, and fun along the way.

Get ready for an action-packed day as young triathletes dive, ride, and run their way through an unforgettable challenge!
Join us at Section 3, Manly Dam, where the next generation of triathletes will take on a stunning course surrounded by one of Sydney’s most beautiful outdoor settings. Expect energy, excitement, and plenty of smiles as kids discover the joy of teamwork, determination, and the thrill of crossing the finish line.
🏊♀️🚴♂️🏃♀️ Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines, volunteering, or supporting a young Dragon on their triathlon journey, this is a community event not to be missed.

Location: Manly Dam – Section 3
Registration from 7:30AM.
Race Distances
Ages 5 – 8:
🏊 Swim – 100m
🚴 Cycle – 3km
🏃 Run – 1km
Ages 9 – 15:
🏊 Swim – 200m
🚴 Cycle – 6km
🏃 Run – 2km
Flexible participation options available — kids can skip a leg or take part as a relay team.
What to Bring
✅ A mechanically sound bike. (Any size is fine)
✅ Helmet (Mandatory)
✅ Goggles and a bright Cap for the swim
✅ Running shoes
✅ Water bottle
✅ A few friends
✅ Plenty of energy and a big smile
